We helped the client, a digital platform for booking hotels and restaurants across the Scandinavian and UK markets, modernize their application. Our team optimized the platform’s performance, redesigned the interface, and improved the overall user experience to make booking faster and more intuitive.

The client required a full optimisation and redesign of the platform. The task included improving the internal structure of the system, aligning it with modern industry standards, enhancing maintainability, and significantly updating the user interface. It was also important to increase reliability, reduce technical bottlenecks, and ensure that the platform was ready for long-term growth.

Our team has performed the following works:

• conducted a code review, after which we migrated the code base of the web application from Vue2 to Vue3, from Webpack to Vite
• during the migration of the code base, the code was optimized and everything was brought into line with the latest industry standards.
• implemented Typescript on the project in order to facilitate future support and development.
• we covered the project with automatic tests.
• developed a new application interface.

This solution allowed the client:

• increase the speed of data processing on the site,
• increase the clickability of the site due to the new interface,
• increase site traffic,
• increase the flow of incoming leads.
